So here is my lineup for all 4 days, I’m not going to cosplay on day 0 because, yeah… Too much effort. Just gonna look kawaii as possible in this unbearable heat >.>.

Day 2: Yukari Takeba from the video game “Persona 3″ (gonna be with a persona 3 group)
Day 3: Bad Girl from the video game “No More Heroes”
Day 4: Catherine from the video game “Catherine”

Just some Bad Girl progress, and sort of the finished product! I have everything I need for her and I’m really excited to debut her! Yay!

Unfortunately my only Yukari progress photo, it was really fast to make all the garments for this one. I just need to make her gun holster and S.E.E.S arm badge ! Both should be pretty easy. I’m sad I didn’t have time to make my evoker, I just bought a pistol B.B gun in santee alley for 5$ and I’m probably going to just keep it in the holster for the majority of the con >.<.>

Chobits cosplay progress! It’s mostly just Allison’s dress for Chii, since mine is just being finished up now… But I’m really happy how it turned out over all. I just need to add details to mine, and make the ears and hats for both characters!

All in all, it’s going to be a super fun con! This is my 11th year of Anime Expo and cosplaying! I feel like I’ve improved and learned a lot when it comes to craftsmanship! Ohhhh myyy godddd hiiii everyone, I am still a fashion blogger, so sorry for the absence! I figure I really just need to prioritize my time better, I think I’m getting better? Anyways. Anime Expo was a blast!!! I’ll do a post on that soon since I got the majority of the photos back now ヾ(＠⌒ー⌒＠)ノ♡♡♡ So excited to show yo all the finished product! I finally re-did my Catherine too and she was a Hit!!! I’m actually doing a really awesome photo and video shoot with that cosplay Wednesday with Sylvia! (And hopefully John) so you guys keep your eyes peeled!

As for this post, I’ve been waiting forever to share these photos! I think this photo set came out so cute and relaxed despite the outfit! I just looooooove these cat ears! They go with most of my wardrobe hehehe. And the best part is that they clip in so they look like you actually have cat ears ψ(｀∇´)ψ! Please check out Creature of Habit if you haven’t already! Hey everyone!!! I hope you all are having a nice Thursday! (Almost the weekend yay!) I wanted to share with you guys a look that Puma and lookbook.nu have asked me to do! I recently got sent these fabulous sneakers, and whilst I don’t often wear sneakers, I’ve fallen in love with these! They are really unique, the shape (which gives you a few extra inches! ) the straps and that poppy color! I also have to admit these are sooooo comfortable. It actually rained yesterday in Los Angeles and I had alot of errands to do and I don’t drive (I live downtown) and so I had to run around alot in these shoes! And my feet have never been happier! Also, these shoes are kind of like ninja shoes (is that weird?) they are reallllllly quite. I’m not the most graceful, and my foot falls are loud as hell, but when I was wearing these every step was dainty and quiet lol!

Hey everyone!!! It’s been awhile ( I’m so sorrrrrrieeeeeeeeeee 。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。) you know, it’s the same old “life” stuff. Bleh. I actually have alot of stuff to update you with! So don’t worry! Also, I’m so happy it’s not 100 degrees every day anymore. Thank god!

On to these photos!!! If you all recall, I said I would be doing a chobits cosplay a this last anime expo with my friend Allison! But things happened and I wasent done with both costumes and Allison couldn’t go because of work stuff but I vowed to finish the cosplays! I finished Allison’s quite nicely (chii) I’m really happy with the outcome. I’m not super happy with mine, but the photos came out grand and I’ll re-do the dress when we plan on wearing it to a convention! (Hopefully soon, but Allison is going to Asia for 4 months T_T ) Sylvia did an amazing job photographing, she is also a fan of chobits so it was really easy! And of course Allison is an amazing model and she just naturally looks like an anime character so it all translated super well! I’m just so happy with these photos!!!! I hope you all love them too! Hello everyone! How was your weekend? ( ^ω^ ) it sure was a cold one ! (((╹д╹;))) I had a really busy Saturday… Filled with holiday parties and getting things prepped for shoots… Sunday I spent most of the day under the covers…. It’s really nice but at the same time I want to be able to do stuff ू(ʚ̴̶̷́ .̠ ʚ̴̶̷̥̀ ू) . ( why can’t I sew in bed? GAH!) I have so much exciting things coming up, I’m trying to mentally prepare myself (￣◇￣;) .

Anyways, onto my post! I shot this around the brewery artist lofts with my dear friend Sylvia. I’ve had these Creepers from the Robert Wayne Footwear lookbook shoot for awhile and I really wanted to do a good blog post featuring them! I’m actuall displaying a more everyday look for me here. Usually, I don’t wear pants at all. I don’t know why, but they are really uncomfortable to me. But I’m usually wearing my T.U.K creepers all the time, and it makes my style a little darker… When I’m not trying I’m usually dressed kind of punk-ish. People think I’m dressing up because it seems to be out of my element, but it’s really something I’ve been doing for ages. I blame my father and mother for their punk and goth influences hahaha.

I got this amazing sweater from a Jet Rag Dollar Sale in the beginning of the summer, but it didnt stop me from wearing it everyday hahaha. The heavy wool knit is so amazing, it’s one of my favorite sweaters despite it’s bulky-ness. So I thought it a perfect match with my skinny black jeans and chunky creepers. What do y’all think?

This last Saturday my favorite photo studio held an “Ugly Christmas Sweater” party and it was so awesome! I’m usually not one for soiree’s (I get really tired really fast) but this one was filled with great friends and great attitudes! As you can see I spent a great deal of time with my friend Moon as well. Haha we always end up matching somehow (-｡-; ! I got my sweater from The Loved One and I couldn’t be happier with it! I also got Moons Christmas tree sweater as well from there! They both were half off as well! My generous boyfriend ended up buying them for me, I was so greatful! My sweater has awesome angora inserts on the details of the sweater, and I’m such a sucker for that stuff! I had some red velvet ribbon lying around and put them in my hair and put on my vintage satin Ferragamos and I was set! I really felt pretty that night, so I just thought I would share these photos! Sorry it’s not a real outfit post >.

So winter in Los Angeles really doesn’t seem to exist this year. It’s bright and sunny everyday without even a brisk wind. I guess most would prefer this sort of weather, as you can see, it’s perfect for shooting. And I can wear pastels all year long. But how will I ever use my cute new umbrella without any rainfall? Enough of my musings on the weather, I really just want it to rain and to be able to wear black sometimes and cute coats and layers and boots! Well I will be going to New York in about two weeks, so I guess I won’t be complaining about sunny weather there! I’m beyond excited, I’ve never been, and I’ve never experienced another big city to be honest! I just thought I would let you all know about some exciting travels to happen in my life soon!

On to my blogpost, Born Pretty Store (isn’t that name cute?) sent me this beautiful and unique angel wing phone case and I had to do a pretty post on it! White and pink are my favorite colors, so that wasn’t very hard to coordinate an outfit to shoot it with. Also when I shot with Sylvia, she gave me my Christmas Presents that day as well! Which included this beautiful umbrella, snacks, a pretty scarf and a really cute Japanese school girl bag!! (Photos soon) I just had to include the umbrella, I think it really ties everything together, despite the lack of rain! The case is really great though, the way that it sits in your hand, it makes it almost impossible to slip out of your hand, seriously it’s like the wings hook onto your palm! It’s a silicone case as well, so if you do drop it, it just bounces \(//∇//)\ ! It’s a constant conversation starter as well, either people asking ” where did you get that?” Or “what is that? ” or “wow that’s really cute!” In the sea of iPhone cases, I think this one stands out quite a bit!

Oh man, I guess I kind of have an obsession with overalls and fluffy coats lately, I have like 4 blogposts with overall type outfits, and I actually just got 3 fluffy costs this season @.@ . I just want to look like a kid and be warm! Hahaha. 6ks.com recently sent me these overalls and fluffy coat and I am in love! The overalls are so casual and comfortable, and since the pants part are skinnies, they make them more updated and modern! The fluffy white coat has become somewhat of a favorite of mine, it’s so easy, and it was so inexpensive for the quality! I really like pairing it with dresses and skirts as well! ~*

So I went to New York for a week and a half, I was there for the last two days of fashion week, their big blizzard and Valentines Day! We were mostly their for work (we met with a bunch of agencies while we were there for Scott) but we got to go to a few museums and walk a lot around the city! It was just really nice spending so much time with Scott, I am so appreciative of how generous and nice he is! I’ve never been treated so well by another person, I love him so much! I just wanted to share that! Haha

If you’ve ever seen the Jean-Luc Godard film “Une Femme est Une Femme” (A Woman is A Woman) you would see the inspiration Bearcat pulled for our shoot for their Fall/Winter look book. Being a long time lover of Godard, I was ecstatic when Bearcat casted me for this look book! “Une Femme est Une Femme” is one of my favorite films, the imagery, cinematography, the writing and of course the unique story is all so captivating! I really feel like we pulled it off in this! Although, it’s too bad we couldn’t shoot in a theater!

Today I ended up having the day off, and it was so gloomy outside, I decided to stay in. Thankfully, we have a bunch of studio equipment in my loft, so I decided to take some quick photos today. I really long for spring, and when it rolls around, my style becomes always more adolescent, pastel and girly. So today, I pulled out a lot of my pastel lounge wear, (which happens to be mostly from American Apparel) and took my iPad and shot some outfits on my bed. I didn’t put on makeup today, but I’ve been trying really hard to take care of my skin, so it doesn’t look too bad…If you haven’t seen my blog before or haven’t been following for very long, I used to do a lot of outfit posts like this when I was younger, I guess I’m kind of lazy and prefer laying in a bed then being outside and standing for blog photos :p . Anyways, I of course tried to pull some Lolita inspiration in my posing and outfits, but a more updated version? I hope I pulled it off, I do renditions of this style so much >.> I hope you all like it!

This sweater perfectly encompasses my sense of style, loose, light, girly but with a little bit of sass (and French!) I definitely went a much more Japanese route when styling this peice, but I did add it with a long skirt which is abnormal for me. I’m just glad you can see the silhouette of my legs in it.

There has been so much shit going on in my life recently, not that it’s bad shit, but still stuff I just have to deal with. I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting, trying to figure out my options and what I really want out of life and I’ve come to a few conclusions. Whatever I do though, I just want to create, I don’t care if I become a slave to my work, if I can spend my time making things with my mid, hands and heart, the end justify the means.

Sorry for the sort of serious post, I just thought it was appropriate considering the word printed on my sweater haha.

I just wanted to do another set of cute/lazy photos on my bed. It’s just so easy and I love the way they turn out I hope you all do as well! I’ve been shooting non stop, which is great, but my loft really needs to get cleaned @.@ . I’ve also been working on quite a bit of art, if you follow my Instagram ( @missmacross ) you have seen some stuff, I just want to be good again… I realize when I’m frustrated, I tend to draw a lot. Haha hopefully I can keep it up!

I should also be working on cosplay… AHG so un-motivated for some reason. But I have a lot of work to do ! XD

Anyways, with this outfit, I know the dress is super short, it’s a child’s size, but it fits me in the perfect 60′s shift dress kind of way, and is just too adorable! In thrift shops I live going to the children section where they have their uniforms, I’ve found awesome pleated skirts, dresses, vests, blazers, shirts and sweaters! And it’s usually way cheaper than everything else . So this was one of those finds. I wore it actually with black stockings and my Deandri oxfords yesterday!

So I believe I mentioned (and if I didn’t on here I did on all my other social media) that I did a music video shoot for the band Moving Units about two weeks ago? Anyways, it was a super fun day, the two other models I worked with ( Bethany Rose and Amanda Darling) were equal parts beautiful and wonderful ! The director (Mathew Rudenberg) and his wife (Robin Rudenberg) who was the producer made the shoot go smoothly and made it really exciting! I had met the lead singer (Blake miller) when I used to work at Heirloom vintage. So it was nice to see him again and work with him! The whole day consisted of a lot of jumping as you can imagine. Actually when you are in the bounce house and not shooting, we weren’t allowed to jump and my body would do this wiggle that made me still bounce in place that was really hard to stop, lol I swear it is involuntarily!!! I also had a lot of coffee that day… So by the end of the shoot I was all shaky from that and the adrenaline XD.

Happy Monday everyone! I recently got sent this super cute Sailor Seifuku outfit from SammyDress.com and I was so excited to blog about it! I know that Seifuku’s aren’t traditionally pink… But I just can’t help the cute design! ☆*:.｡. o(≧▽≦)o .｡.:*☆ . Unfortunately, I didn’t think it was going to be cropped… So I put this oversize cardigan on to cover that fact, I like it better this way anyways. Also, I always wear twin tails since my hair has gotten so long and it’s one length, so this style makes so much sense as well together! I know I don’t really post cosplay stuff on here because I try to keep cosplay and fashion really Seperate. As for this photo series, I modeled for this company called Robert Wayne Footwear, and they gave me some free shoes, one of which were these stellar doc martins. I had to figure out a dark/cute look for this, so leather and chiffon just seemed natural. I think the cat purse might be a bit much, but I freaking love that cat purse. My hair is such a mess in these photos, please forgive me! >.
